My New Daisy Pendants!
My daughter, Danielle and I are having so much fun making these daisies! :)
The black ones give a retro feel! While the pastel ones are just juicy!
These are "Danielle's Daisies"
Check out these ones, too...
These are available on my Etsy site...
$10.00 each!
Here's a new addition to my fusing! I made about 12 trillion of these last year and gave them away to all the ladies in my family. This HOLDS water! It's a fused glass wall pocket. ( In the background, you can see the horrendous weather we had yesterday, see the toppled chair?) It was 20 degreees, with 50mph gusts of wind. ugh. THEN...it snowed.
Oh...and check out my rock gardens, groovy, huh...and that's the river that my kids were IN on Sunday, today is Thursday, and there are little hunks of ice in it. Dern Michigan weather.
:)

Saidie, thanks for the invite. I've got spring fever IN THE WORST WAY! I've been making spring colored things since January ( hopefully my sales will increase as the temperature outside increases) hehe.
I'm a fused glass artist from Michigan. I make all kinds of things out of fused and stained glass, I'm also bigtime into mosaics, beads, cooking, gardening, anything that could injure or cut my hands, it seems. UGH!
Here are a few of my things I've made over the past week or so...
This is a suncatcher, I just took a super closeup photo of the little guy, becuse his face is so cute!
And another suncatcher...I mean, who WOULDN'T want a dead fish hanging in their window?
And, of course, like all glass fusers....there's the jewelry...although, I'm really trying NOT to make so much jewelry, it just seems like all fusers specialize in jewelry. I'm trying to be more unique!
POT MELT PENDANTS!
I just love making these potmelt pendants!
It's a fun, but involved, process.
I take 3 or 4 colors of little glass scraps, and fill a small pot up to the brim.
Then, in my kiln, I fire them in a small pot with a hole in the bottom. The molten glass drips from the hole, forming these fantastic, amazing swirls.
The glass is then coldworked (extensively) ...to form these lovely pendants.
